I'm in college, maybe you are too. You're a rushed individual, you don't often have time to chop up asparagus stalks "just so!" or sautee and marinate meats for 12 hours. You don't like cutting the fat off of meats or any of those other fancy schmancy things. You think Kraft Original mac & cheese is a lot of work, so you buy the more expensive Kraft Deluxe just so you can skip the step of making the cheese sauce. If that describes you, or you can relate to that, this recipe is for you. This also will really impress college girls. Most guys can't cook for shit, and I've made this exact same recipe many times and gotten rave compliments from girls who are like "wow, usually i just get some Easy Mac and potato chips!"
It also costs less than $10. And takes the same amount of time as it does to boil water and make pasta. You're just doing stuff while the water is boiling.
This also makes a great side dish without the chicken.
First step is assemble your ingredients.

Salt, random chicken spices, cayenne peppers, olive oil, prego (or whatever sauce you like) 1 pound of pasta, I picked bowties, but any kind will work really and your chicken. I usually buy 1 lb. chicken breasts and cut it up into tiny chunks, but for some reason I had tenders so I used those.

Put a lot of water on to boil and add salt to taste.

start cutting your chicken up. I'm cutting the tenders in half down the middle just to have more bits of chicken. I usually cut the breasts up into chunks about the size of my thumb (pre-cooked).

Chicken after it's been cut up.
The chicken sauce.

Here i mix dollop of olive oil with my chicken spices and the pepper. I whip it up a bit so it mixes properly.

Don't forget to heat your sauce up. If you put cold sauce on your pasta it will taste kinda nasty and make the whole thing cold much faster.

Dip the chicken in the sauce and swish it around a bit, put it on another plate.
hot pic of the chef (me)
Pour the whole box of pasta into the boiling water.

Pour what's left over of the chicken sauce into a frying pan. If there's not enough to cover the bottom of the pan, pour in more olive oil and throw some more spices + pepper in there. Get that heated up (you can tell it's hot when it's bubbling a little bit) and dump your chicken on there.

Stir the chicken up and get it cookin reall good. It might spit at you, but that's ok. That just means it likes you. You will want to flip over pieces that are pink on top after a couple of minutes, just so they cook all the way through.

This is what it looks like when the chicken is done. Turn off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes.

Drain the oil out of the pan, just tilt the pan over the trash and let it drain out. Use a fork to stop the chicken from falling in the trash. Then pour your pasta sauce over your chicken and turn the heat on low. Let it simmer.

Strain your pasta. Watch our for the steam monster! This will fog up your glasses something fierce.

OH NO! STEAM MONSTER! Just kidding, it's my oven mitt. It's really old and looks like a rabbit. It's also really dirty.

Put the pasta back into the pot and dump your chicken/sauce mixture on top of the pasta and start stirring.

This is what it should look like when you're done. If it's a little light, add more pasta sauce, but remember to put some heat on and keep stirring, it'll warm up pretty fast.

Enjoy with your cheap Parmesan cheese.
mmm mmm good.
This makes enough for 3 college males. Cuz sizes in half to get enough for 1 person.
