With the great www.gbsfood.com site we have now I decided to join in the fun of creating a cooking thread, so here's my first.
Here's what I'm using today:
- 1 Onion
- 1 Large can of Tomatoes (chopped..whole, doesn't matter)
- 3 Pork chops (or however many you want to make)
- 1 cup of Rice
- 0 cloves of garlic
and a Large frying pan, and other kitchen related items.
I was going to use garlic but I changed my mind, so ignore the garlic in the picture.

Slice up the onion like so. (Cold Tip: Keep your onions in the fridge and when you cut them up you won't cry like a little girl like I do when cutting onions that have reached room temperature.)

Melt some butter in a frying pan.

With the heat cranked to high you want to get the pan nice and hot to brown the chops.

Toss in the chops, what you want to do here is just brown them on both sides, they're going to cook all the way through later on.

Open up that can of tomatoes!

Flip those chops over and give them a bit of salt and pepper to season them.

Lay the onion slices on the chops like this, you can use as many as you like. I like to keep it at 2 slices each.

Ontop of each chop/onion you put 1/4 cup of rice, and then with the last 1/4 cup spinkle it around the frying pan.

Pour the can of tomatoes all over the chops and spread it around, and then using water fill up the frying pan so the chops/rice are just barely covered. And turn the heat down to low so that it can simmer.

Cover it all up with a lid and wait about 15-20 mins, the pork will cook the rest of the way and the rice should be nicely done by then.

Now that you've waited your 15-20 mins it should look a little something like this!

Serve, eat, enjoy!

I think that's everything, I'll see what I can dream up for my next one.
