Teriyaki Pork & Vegetable Stir Fry with Fried Rice by Prowler Visit Thread
Being one that cooks all the time, I figured I would go ahead and make one of these threads. Sorry, I'm too nice to tell you all to "shut the fuck up and make some motherfucking STIR FRY, BITCHES!" so I guess I'll be boring and straightforward.

Damn. Oh well.

I would have done something better tasting, but www.gbsfood.com has taken quite a few of my favorite recipes; instead, I wish to round out the selection (no teriyaki?!).

Here's what you'll need; Keep in mind I am by no means an exact person, so there will be no measurements. Also, you may change out any of the vegetables or add as you please.

Boneless Pork Chops (About a pound is great; I'd stick to thin sliced).
Rice (White Rice is fun)
Teriyaki Sauce (Real men make their own. Fuck that. Kikkoman all the way.)
Green Bell Peppers
Red Bell Peppers (Optional; for presentation and color.)
Yellow Squash (Two or three...uh...things, is fine.)
Broccoli (One or two stalks is fine.)
Seasonings (Garlic, Black Pepper works well, I've found.)
One or two eggs (For the Fried Rice)
Soy Sauce (Fried Rice)
Lime Juice (optional, for that hint of flavor in your marinade)
Onion
Pam/Cooking Spray or Vegetable Oil.

1. First, break out your rice and cook it as per the directions if you're not familiar (bring two cups of water to boil, add one cup of rice, and cover; reduce to medium heat and let cook for about 20 minutes).

2. While your rice is cooking, take your green bell pepper and cut them into pretty strips. Do the same for your pork chops. Yours should be thinner and shorter than mine; I was a lazy idiot in this thread.

3. As you see here, you're going to have to marinade this shit. I combined my green peppers and pork into a zip-loc bag (if you have something better, I'd suggest using it) alongside teriyaki and a little bit of lime juice (not too much, it's there for extra flavor). Set it in your fridge for about 45 minutes. I did overnight thanks to a few...complications with someone, and lets just say my pork tasted very teriyakiyi.

4. Chop up your vegetables and set them aside in the fridge as well. This includes your onion, squash, broccoli, and some of your red bell pepper as well as green bell pepper. If your rice is done by now, make sure you set it aside and let it cool for a while. Hell, if you want, put it in the fridge too. Have a fridge party. So you know, you can't fry rice very well with fresh out of the pot rice. It gets clumpy and mushy.

5. Play some Xbox Live while you wait for your shit to marinade. I'm playing Halo 2 and nearly get my ass handed to me in Rumble Training.

6. Alright, now, take everything out of the fridge and set it aside. Pam or oil up two skillets and get ready to multi-task. Drain, then dump your pork into one of the skillets and begin to stir fry that mess.

7. In your other skillet, fry the egg, unclump and add the rice, add some soy sauce, some onions, some green peppers, and have at it. If you're not sure how to fry rice, reference this: http://www.gbsfood.com/1521480/ .

8. Drain your pork as it begins to be done; Place it back on the stove and add your vegetables to the fray. Stir in some teriyaki and seasonings. Garlic works well for flavoring, as well as black pepper. It is all up to you, mostly.

Enjoy! I'd have taken a picture of the final product, but, for one, my camera battery died; additionally, I hadn't eaten since 12 (and it was 8 when I finished). My meal did not last as long as my camera had time to charge up. Oh yes, and if any pictures are broken, just right click and choose "show picture" or "view picture." They'll all fine...

all fine...
