Since I joined, I've been constantly using recipes from gbsfood, and I wanna take the time to thank everyone for the recipes I've used, and the ideas for those that I haven't yet. They've all turned out great, and some of them were wonderful to make, despite me being a broke-ass college student. Anyway, I figured that I would buck up and add my own contribution, so here goes.
I prefer to call this my life-saver in college, since it's so damn easy to make, but I'm sure someone around here can enjoy it. My family prefers to call it Macaroni and Cheese, but I look at it as more of a casserole. The great thing about it is most of the ingredients are preference based on how much you want, or if you want it at all. The one I'm using here is the most basic (and cheapest when I was at school), but I'll give ideas for alternates. Again, for most items I'm not posting measurements, since you can add/subtract as much as you want.
(this one serves 3)

12 oz radiatore pasta
6 oz can White Albacore Tuna, drained
12 oz can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/3 cup milk
2 Metric Tons of cheese (whatever you prefer, I'm using mild cheddar and pepper jack)
(Not pictured: Garlic, Salt and Pepper)
1) Setup- Preheat the oven to 350F (fuck the metric system), get some boiling water ready and shred as much cheese as you want. Once the water gets to a boil, throw in the pasta... and wait.

(BOIL, FUCKERS, BOIL!)
2) Turn down the heat to medium and cook the pasta to al dente. When it's done, turn off the heat and drain.
3) Throw in the Garlic (I used about 2 cloves), Cream of mushroom, Milk, and Tuna, in that order, then mix until the tuna is broken up well and evenly distributed, then add salt and pepper to taste.

(To this!
)
4) The Cheesey Goodness: add a whole lotta cheese to the mix, and give that a good stir-around, then take whatever cheese you have left (either a lot or a little) and cover the top. Then throw that fucker in the oven for a good 30-45 minutes... and wait. Have a beer, watch 30 minutes of anything ya got, entertain yourself, jerk it, whatever makes you happy.

(mmmmmm, cheesey goodness)

(My brew... hey, it's cheap, good, and the store is nearby. Oh, and forgot to rotate... oh well)
5) When that time passes, pull it out of the oven, spoon up, and enjoy.

(I was gonna get the full pan finished product, but my brother
decided to dig right in, so take my thumb in stride and chow down.)
Now- some alternatives I've done:
-The most common thing we do is substitute the tuna for ground beef. In doing so, add a bit more garlic or other spices for flavor.
-Swap the Cream of Mushroom for Cheddar Cheese soup or Cream of Broccoli. If you swap for either one, you'll want to use less milk, since these are a bit more runny than the junk we used here.
-Full italian- throw in Italian Sausage, Oregano, a bit of Basil, more Garlic, a splash of Olive Oil, and use Mozzerela, Provolone, and top with parmesean and romano.
-The college favorite, swap out the cream of mushroom for a half-cup of milk, one can of chili, and a packet of taco seasoning. Plus, use some ground beef and Chorizo.
The possibilities are endless, so go your own way. Enjoy!
